Max Borjon Lopez was born in Prescott Arizona , after leaving Prescott I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area , being a product of the public school music programs I learned how to play the saxophone and other musical instruments . While being in the Bay Area I was exposed to allot of great musicians and had the opportunity to go out and listen them. May it have been from a Jazz Group to a popular Big Band of times. While in high school I had the opportunity to go and Listen to the Stan Kenton Orchestra and that is when it hit me ( THE JAZZ BUG) ! I started studying with some of the finest instructors in the area . As fate had it intended for me I started my own Big Band known as ( The Blue Moon Orchestra) which was a Dance Band , Then in the 90's I started ( The Bay City Big Band) which was a all around contemporary Big Band Jazz and Dance Band. Through my career I have had the opportunity to perform with such Artist such as Lou Rawls,The Temptations,Mr Freddie Cole,Mr. Tony Martin,Patty Andrews of The Andrew Sisters,Frankie Lane,Kay Star,Bobby Vinton,Frankie Valie,Charro,The Stars Of Lawrence Welk,The Nelson Riddle Orchestra,Nancy Wilson and The Supreme's,Wayne Newton,Patty Page,Little Anthony and The Imperials,Carol Lawrence,Peter Marshall, just to name a few.
